Our first assignment was to create a poster based on what our projects are about. Because my project is going to be based on the night sky surrounding the 175th day of the year I have included some constellations that were visible on that night last year, such as Draco and I have asked the question 'what can you see' because this is one of the questions I aim to answer when developing my outcome.
I think my poster represents what my project is about quite well, with out giving too much away so there is a lot of room for development. I think that by using a range of materials was a good idea because it makes my poster look a bit more alternative. I also wanted to experiment with different surfaces to see how well they fit together and I intent to keep on using a wide range of materials through out my project.
I have also created some smaller, word based pieces in my sketchbook, as part of my own reflection on and development on 175. I think that these small pieces are more of a stepping stone in my thought process from how the group managed to get from A to B.
